Huw Rees
Huw Rees has been in the public eye for more than 18 years, appearing weekly on S4C as the face of fashion here in Wales and recognized throughout Wales as Huw Fash.
His career started in Carmarthen at the highly respected Dyfed College of Art. A fashion degree in London quickly followed and this opened the door to the Royal College of Art.
Collections followed for Max Mara in Italy, Harvey Nichols in London and the well known high street brand Warehouse.
“This expertise I have drawn upon whilst dressing household names such as Shirley Bassey, Charlotte Church, Katherine Jenkins, Gavin Henson, Ryan Giggs and many more.”
A career as a fashion editor and presenter was launched on the groundbreaking welsh language magazine show `Heno` transmitted nightly on S4C.
Huw has lectured in fashion design in colleges and universities throughout Wales and the UK and is constantly called upon to pass his expert opinion for radio and newspapers as well as advising on marketing strategies for many companies.
The boutique will be simply called Huw Rees. I am making a strong personal statement that we are immersed in the traditional values and customer care that in the past were an essential part of a high street. I strongly believe that in the present climate of fast disposable fashion we need to earn customers trust and respect.
